2008 Green School Nov 6 - Dec 18
UMass Extension's 2008 Green School will be held from November 6 through December 18 at the Sheraton Hotel in Milford, Mass. (exit 19 off Route 495). Participants will be able to choose from three specialty tracks: Turf Management, Landscape Management, and Arboriculture.

New Director of Turfgrass Management
John E. Kaminski, Ph.D., has been hired as the newest member of the Pennsylvania State University's Turfgrass faculty. He will assume the role of Assistant Professor of Turfgrass Science and Director of the Penn State Certificate Program in Golf Course Turfgrass Management.
